The new building dedicated to the School of Nursing will help to address the nationwide shortage of nurses in the U.S. which is expected to reach one million by 2016. The Nursing & Science Building will aid Nevada's nursing students and citizens by providing facilities needed to excellently train and prepare the next generation of nurses.
The $40 million, 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art building will include increased space for the growth of the School of Nursing which will help the College alleviate Nevada's acute healthcare crisis.
