Nursing & Science Building Fund
Nevada State College is seeking a substantial lead contribution for permanent named recognition rights to the Nursing & Science Building. Click here for detailed description of the Nursing and Science Building.
The timing of this lead contribution is almost as important as the amount. As capital funds become scarcer for public building projects, the Nevada Legislature is more inclined to allocate funds to those projects that are leveraged by private contributions.
As construction and building costs escalate, it becomes critical for Nevada State College to secure funding for the Nursing & Science Building prior to the 2009 session. This will allow the college to immediately move forward with construction, thereby mitigating any need to re-program the building’s size and purpose due to inflation in later years.
