William O. Wagnon III currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for MountainView Hospital. Prior to his present appointment, Wagnon served as the chief operating officer (COO) at Swedish Medical Center-HealthONE, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Englewood, Colorado. As COO, Wagnon was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital including strategic and facility planning, labor management, and service line development. Prior to Swedish Medical Center, Wagnon served as the chief operating officer for Community Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida; and as the Associate Administrator for Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida.
Wagnon earned his bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon and his master’s degree in health administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Wagnon is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Salvation Army and is involved with organizations such as United Way, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, State Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council, and the Good Samaritan Health Clinic.
