Glenn Christenson is Managing Director of Velstand Investments, LLC. Prior to joining Velstand Investments, LLC, Christenson spent 18 years with Station Casinos, where he served as Executive Vice Present and Chief Financial Officer overseeing the operations of fourteen properties.
Before being a part of Station Casinos, Christenson spent seventeen years with the international accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche), where he served as a partner from 1983-1989 and was the partner-in-charge of audit services for the Nevada Practice and National Audit Partner for the firm’s hospitality industry practice.
Christenson has served in a leadership capacity in several civic organizations over the years. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the Board of Directors of the National Center for Responsible Gaming, the Board of Directors of Problem Gambling Consultants (a not for profit service organization), the Board of Trustees of the Nevada Development Authority, the Board of Directors of the Nevada State College Foundation, and is an advisor to the UNLV Business School. He was named to the Nevada Society of CPAs Hall of Fame for Business and Industry in 2001 and was named one of the Most Influential Businessmen in Southern Nevada by In Business magazine in 2002. Christenson also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Nevada Community Bancorp.
Christenson and his wife, Anne, have two children, Amy and Tim.
