Welcome to another semester at Nevada State College. As the first state college in Nevada, we are proud of our students' accomplishments. You are helping to shape and define the characteristics of Nevada State College. You are the focus of our efforts as we strive to provide you with an outstanding educational community.
Our mission is to educate the next generation of professionals who will become leaders of the State of Nevada. We have alumni working as teachers, nurses, law enforcement officers and other contributing members of the community. They take with them many valuable learning experiences from Nevada State College. Many employers are contacting the college in pursuit of our graduates.
We continue to provide outstanding customer service and a wide range of educational opportunities for our students. We hope that you continue to strive towards your educational and career goals.

09/11/07 The Increasing Diversity in Science in Nevada project is awarding up to six $3,000 /yr. BRIDGES Internships in academic year 2007-2008 to full time NSC undergraduate students intending to complete degrees in math, science, engineering, technology or any related field supported by the National Science Foundation (including economics, psychology, and anthropology). The Internships pay $3,000 to selected NSC students. BRIDGES Interns will be linked with an NSC faculty mentor and required to participate in off-campus tutoring with area middle schools and high schools. 03/07/07 Scholarship Money Available - Apply Now Two Scholarships for full-time NSC Freshman are available now for Fall 06 and Spring 07 semesters retroactively. Awards are for up to $1000 for each semester. If you were admitted as a freshman full-time in Fall 06 and are continuing full-time this Spring, click here to get the details and find out if you're eligible for one or both scholarships.
