Bachelor of Applied Science, Management
MISSION
STATEMENT
The
Bachelor of Applied Science degree program is designed for students who have
earned community college Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees and wish to
extend the breadth of their education and earn a baccalaureate degree. This program provides the student with
further professional specialization, and with the communication, management,
and critical thinking skills and breadth of study which promote life-long
learning, enhance personal life, enable deeper exploration of connections to
the community, and open career paths.
The degree is intended for students who wish to develop their managerial
and entrepreneurial skills and understanding to complement the technical skills
they have already acquired. This
degree will open up career paths and business opportunities that an applied
science associate degree alone does not provide.
