Welcome Transfer Students

Welcome to Nevada State College! We will make every effort to make Nevada State College the last stop on the road to graduation. As Transfer Students, it is important to become familiar with the policies, procedures, and other operations of Nevada State College that may be different from those of other institutions attended. Orientation is mandatory for all new Transfer students, however, Transfer students have the option of completing either the In-Person Orientation or the On-line Orientation.

In-Person Orientation: This Orientation session is a one day, five hour event that offers many opportunities that will enhance students’ educational careers at Nevada State. Those opportunities include becoming acclimated to the new school environment, meeting professors and staff, receiving academic advising and meeting existing students.  **Please note: All In-Person Orientation sessions are held at the Basic and Water II Building at 311 S Water Street, Henderson NV 89015 in Downtown Henderson. Click here for directions.**

On-line Orientation: Transfer students have the option of completing the orientation on-line. If on-line orientation is selected, the Office of Admissions & Orientation will email the student approval for the on-line option which includes instructions on how to enter the orientation session.

Orientation is for admitted students only. If you are unsure of your application status, please call the Office of Admissions at (702) 992-2130 prior to registering for an orientation session.
