Parent/Outside Support Orientation Session

Family and friends can play a crucial role in the academic and social success of students.  Because of this, the Office of Admissions and Orientation has designed an orientation session especially with this in mid.  

This one hour session is specifically for family and friends who desire to learn how they can best support the student throughout his or her time in college. It provides tips, perspectives, and advice on how to maximize this supporting role. We will discuss ways in which family and friends can be involved, from what to expect from Nevada State College, to the tools to help a new student succeed.

Working together will help make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. Family and friends have worked hard to help get their new student to this point. Now, let’s work together to get students on their way to graduation!.
