Welcome to the Department of Visual Media at Nevada State College!
The Bachelor of Science in Visual Media is designed for students interested in pursuing their four-year degree at Nevada State College. This degree provides a unique education for careers in Videogame Design, Graphic Design for web and print, 3D Animation and Multimedia production. To effectively engage at a professional level, students require an understanding of not only how to build and use tools for creating media, but also how to think critically and strategically about the processes in which they are involved. Through critical, historical, technical and applied learning, the Visual Media degree enables students to develop expertise in graphics technologies for professional purposes.
