Speech Pathology Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement Program Admission
All students seeking an endorsement will need to apply for admission to the School of Education Speech Pathology Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement program prior to registering for speech pathology courses
Applications for admission to the Speech Pathology Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement program are accepted once each year. All application materials must be received no later than the application deadline.

Priority Admission- March 1
Late Admission- March 2-August 15
(Late admission applications will only be processed after all priority applications have been reviewed.)
Spring Semester Admisson

Admission Requirements
- General admission into Nevada State College. Students who have never attended Nevada State College or who have attended as a non-degree seeking student will need to apply for undergraduate admissions through the Office of Admissions and Orientation. Students will need to choose the “Post-baccalaureate Speech Pathology” major when applying. Please note that the Office of Admissions and Orientation will need official transcripts from each institution attended.
- Met with a Nevada State College School of Education Academic Advisor. Students interested in scheduling an advising appointment can contact the School of Education at 702-992-2515.
- A resume.
- A 500-word typed essay entitled: “Why I Want to Become a Speech Pathologist.”
- Clear Tuberculin (TB) Test. The TB test can be given by a primary physician or the Southern Nevada Health District.
