The school includes Bachelor of Science Programs in Nursing and Occupational Science. The Nursing program is rooted in a caring based framework and reflective approach that will challenge students to focus on the heart of nursing and to develop their abilities to become highly ethical and competent professionals. The Occupational Science program is based on the study of occupations and provides students with a firm foundation for entry into an occupational therapy program.

News, Events & Announcements

4/22/08 The Pinning Ceremony for the School of Nursing's May graduates will be held on Friday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at DragonRidge Country Club in Henderson. Tickets are required for the event. Please contact the School of Nursing for more information.

4/22/08 Application deadlines for the School of Nursing have been changed to August 1 for the Spring semester and March 1 for the Fall semester. Students must still apply to Nevada State College and submit all official transcripts to the Office of Admissions no later than one month prior to the application deadlines.

4/22/08 Orientation for students accepted into the School of Nursing for Fall 2008 will be on Monday, June 23 from 9:00AM-12:30PM for the Regular track and Friday, June 27 from 9:00AM-12:30PM for the Accelerated track. Attendance is required for all new Nursing students.

07/20/07All 3rd and 4th year Nursing Students interested in applying for the St. Rose College-To-Career Loan Program should stop by the Office of Student Financial Services & Scholarships and pick up the application. All completed applications need to be returned to SFSS no later than Friday, July 27 in order to be considered. Click here for more information.

01/22/07 Future Students: Check out the new admission policies that become effective Fall 2007. Go to"Student Information" and click on Future Students

01/22/07 Current Nursing Students: The following change in the grading policy becomes effective January 2007: The nursing course exam/test/quiz average must be at least 75%.

01/22/07 The School of Nursing has revised the nursing curriculum. The regular BSN track program beings the revised curriculum in January 2007. The revised curriculum for the Accelerated BSN track and the RN to BSN track become effective Fall 2007.
