Welcome to Mathematics

Welcome to the Mathematics program at Nevada State College. The mathematical sciences have long provided the necessary languages of the physical sciences, but are now also recognized as important components of computer science, social science, business administration, education and the biological sciences. The centrality of mathematics in so many fields heightens the responsibility of educators to convey not only an understanding of mathematics, but the excitement it brings to those who study it.
