He was born in Marysville, Ohio and grew up on a farm in Raymond, Ohio. He teaches American Sign Language courses at NSC as an adjunct instructor. He got his A.A. in Liberal Arts in 2004 from University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Education in Post Secondary Education from UNLV in 2006. He is currently working on his Masters and plans to receive a Master of Education in Teaching and Leadership in December 2008. He received American Sign Language Certification Provisional Level in October 2007. He has two dogs. He loves to travel outside of US, likes to walk with his dogs and collects stamps. He is a member of American Sign Language Teacher Association (ASLTA), American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and Nevada Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NVRID).
