Rubrics
Reflection on one’s teaching is an important qualification of an effective teacher. To address this critical component of teacher preparation, students are required to conduct self evaluations. Each time a student presents a lesson to a class (whether it is in a Nevada State College education class or to a school district classroom) the student must conduct a self evaluation on his/her level of performance in each of the four domains, based on Charlotte Danielson’s rubrics.
