- Elementary Education Degrees
- The School of Education offers three Elementary Education degrees. Students become eligible for a teaching license for grades K-6, issued by the Nevada Department of Education.

- Secondary Education Degrees
- The School of Education offers five Secondary Education degrees which will prepare individuals to teach grades 7-12 in a specific content area.
- B.S. in Biology with Concentration in Secondary Education
- B.A. in English with Concentration in Secondary Education
- B.S. in Environmental and Resource Science with Concentration in Secondary Education
- B.A. in History with Concentration in Secondary Education
- B.S. in Mathematics with Concentration in Secondary Education
- Teacher Certification
- Nevada State College offers upper-division course work leading to teacher certification for individuals who have earned their Bachelor of Arts or Science in any area. A teaching certificate from Nevada State College will prepare students for employment opportunities in the Clark County School District, each school district in the state of Nevada, as well as, school districts throughout the country.

- A degree in Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing allows students the opportunity to develop insight and genuine appreciation for culture, contributions and contemporary issues of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

- High School Program
- The School of Education is working in conjunction with the Clark County Education Association Community Foundation (CCEACF), Clark County School District (CCSD) and the Community College of Southern Nevada (CCSN) to increase the number of Clark County students who embark on teaching careers.
