Program Outcomes & Goals
The successful graduate will demonstrate basic skills and behavior categorized into four critical areas known as domains:
Domain 1: Knowledge of content and pedagogy, knowledge of students, selecting instructional goals, knowledge of resources and designing coherent instruction in relation to Planning and Preparation;
Domain 2: Creating an environment of respect and rapport, establishing a culture for learning, managing classroom procedures, managing student behavior and organizing physical space in relation to Classroom Environment;
Domain 3: Communicating clearly and accurately, using questioning and discussion techniques, providing feedback to student, and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in relation to Instruction;
Domain 4: Reflecting on teaching, maintaining accurate records, communicating with families, contributing to the school and District, growing and developing professionally and showing professionalism in relation to Professional Responsibilities
