Mathematics Placement Testing

The following table explains which ACT and SAT scores correspond with which Mathematics courses at Nevada State College.  Students who have already taken the ACT or SAT exam should register for the Mathematics course that matches their score(s).

Mathematics courses below the 100 level are not calculated in a student’s Grade Point Average nor do they count for college credit.
