Welcome to Academic Advising!
Academic Advising is an important part of the Nevada State College experience. NSC provides all students with Academic Advising to help insure a successful experience on the road to completing a college degree.
All students are encouraged to begin their Academic Advising from the time they are admitted to Nevada State College and continue throughout their college career. An Academic Advisor is a partner in student success and in the completion of academic goals. So, take advantage of our confidential services and contact an advisor regularly.
Each admitted student is assigned a free NSC email account. To help assure student confidentiality, the Advising staff will respond only to NSC email accounts. Instructions to activate the account are included in the Admissions packet that arrived from NSC. It is important that every student activate the account in order to obtain a Degree Audit Report (DARs) from an advisor or to discuss academic progress by email. You can now print your DARs from your Student Account but please review it with your Advisor to make sure the information is in alignment with your records.
