About School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at Nevada State College offers baccalaureate programs for students who are new to the profession as well as for students who already hold RN degrees.
The mission of the School is to prepare students for professional nursing practice. Our philosophy, as articulated by the nursing faculty, is that the essence of nursing is caring. We challenge students to focus on the heart of nursing and to develop into highly ethical, skilled and dedicated professionals.
The nursing program at NSC is nationally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. It also has full approval from the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Innovative Nursing Program
