Online Taskforce

Charge

The Online Taskforce is comprised of representatives from the campus community. The taskforce is charged with reviewing existing online courses to determine quality and course demand; identifying the retention and persistence rates of those enrolled in online courses; determining how best to develop online courses and programs at the College and; identifying and recommending development workshops for faculty teaching online courses and programs.

Structure

Membership

The membership of the Online Taskforce is as follows: 

  • The AVP of College Relations, appointed as Chair by the Provost 
  • The Director of Information Technology 
  • Two representatives from the Instructional Technology Department 
  • Two representatives from the School of Education 
  • One representative from the School of Nursing 
  • Three representatives from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Members shall serve of the taskforce at the discretion of the Chair.

Administrative Staff

Primary staff will be provided by the Chair of the Online Taskforce

Meetings

The Online Taskforce meetings are scheduled regularly during the academic year.

As the Chair of the council, the AVP of College Relations sets the agenda in consultation with the Online Taskforce members.
