The new myNSC is now available for fall 2011 registration! While myNSC has been available to new students applying for admission to NSC since November 2010, fall 2011 registration marks the first time the system is available to enrolled students. myNSC currently allows students to register for Fall 2011 classes and to make tuition payments. In the coming weeks, myNSC will continue to expand and include all enrollment processes such as financial aid, academic advising and other student related processes. Email notifications will be sent to students as these processes become available in myNSC. Please remember to update your email address in myNSC to ensure you receive all future notifications. How do I find out when I am able to register? (04/06/11)
Log into myNSC and navigate to your Student Center. Located on the bottom right is “Enrollment Dates”. Your “Enrollment Appointment” and term you are eligible to enroll in will be posted in this area. Click the details link to view the time you can enroll.
What is the myNSC portal?
The myNSC portal provides students, faculty, and staff with 24x7 online information and self-service capabilities. The system allows students to check for important dates, access and update personal data, apply for financial aid, check holds, search for classes, register for classes, pay for classes, view grades, and much more.
What are the system requirements to use myNSC? (Browsers supported by myNSC? any special requirements?)
myNSC supports Firefox 3+, Internet Explorer 7+, and Safari 3+ web browsers. For best results, allow JavaScript, accept cookies, and turn off pop-up blockers. Some documents within the system are in PDF format and may require Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) to open.

Please note: The old student account is in the process of being converted. Please use the links provided on the registration page to register for both Summer and Fall 2011. Registration for Summer 2011 is the same process as before, however registration for Fall 2011 utilizes the new "myNSC" student portal.
Why are there two ways to register?
Since we are converting to the new system for fall, we still have to have the old system up for summer. Once summer is complete, all summer data will be converted over to the new system, just as all the prior data has been to date. The Student Account will be inactive after the summer sessions.
How do I obtain my login and password for myNSC?
New applicants: Beginning with applicants for the fall 2011 term and beyond, login information will be sent to the e-mail address provided on the admissions application. Additionally, this information will be distributed via postal mail to the mailing address provided on the admissions application.
Current students: In early February, existing students will be sent their new login information to the e-mail address on file in the current online registration system (also referred to as 'Student Accounts'). Please be sure to keep your contact information up-to-date to ensure that your login credentials are sent to you.
How will students receive log in information to register for classes?
Both new admits for Fall 2011 and existing students will have received their login information via e-mail as well as a hardcopy, mailed letter. Please be sure to keep your student contact information (email, primary phone, & mail address) updated!
If students did not receive the mailed letter yet/at all, how can they get login information?
Students can call the Office of the Registrar at (702) 992-2020.
How do students update their student information?
They can update their address, phone, and email through by going to the office of Admissions & Records (Student Center) located at 311 South Water Street, Henderson NV 89015. Please be sure to bring identification for verification.
Do students have to use myNSC portal to register for classes?
Yes, for Fall 2011. They will continue to use the existing 'Student Account' for Summer 2011. Access to both sites are located at the following web address: http://nsc.nevada.edu/register
Do students need to log in to the myNSC Student portal to see class scheduling?
Anyone can use the Search for Classes link on the myNSC home page, however; students can't register from that link unless they are logged into the portal.
When will help be available and what are the different ways help will be offered?
A myNSC support line has been established at (702) 992-2020. This number is posted on the myNSC login page and can route to the various departments to assist the students. In addition, staff members in the Office of the Registrar are available to assist in answering questions at BW II (311 South Water Street) from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Students can send all comments, questions, and concerns via email to, integrate@nsc.nevada.edu. In addition student can email the Office of the Registrar (registrar@nsc.nevada.edu). In addition, a quick survey is being put together to allow students to provide feedback and suggestions on how to better improve the overall registration process. Watch for the survey link on the Official NSC Twitter and Facebook channels.
Why can't I take care of all of my student needs in myNSC?
The transition to the myNSC portal takes place over a period of one year and will be replacing the current online registration system (also referred to as 'Student Account'). As each module is configured and brought online, these functions will then become available to students through the myNSC portal. What is going to happen to the "H" number?
The use of the previous student ID (also referred to as your 'H number') will be phased out by Summer 2011. Its replacement is a ten-digit ID which will be referred to as your NSHE ID. This ID will be unique to you and will be used at every institution within the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE).
