NSC-WNC Partnership

Western Nevada College (WNC) students who are close to completing their first two years of transfer courses toward a bachelor's degree in education can enroll in Nevada State College junior and senior level courses offered at WNC sites and by internet. Students are able to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary or special education teacher without leaving WNC's service area.

Classes are offered at a rate allowing students to finish at the same pace as other four-year institutions. A Sunday section may be added if enrollment is sufficient.

Note: Students must have completed EDU 201- Introduction to Elementary Education. ADMITTANCE TO THE PROGRAM: Students must pass the Pre-Professional Standards Test (PPST) to be fully admitted to the Nevada State College Teacher Preparation Program.
