What is unique about the Nursing Program at Nevada State College?
The Nursing Program at Nevada State College is based on caring. We demonstrate that throughout the nursing curriculum.

How is this philosophy of caring taught?
There are many ways in which we teach this philosophy of caring, but one of the ways is that we show them that we care about them. Talk with If our students need to talk with us, we can with them at length. When our students go into the clinical settings and are taking care of patients, they actually know what it is like to be cared for.

Describe an instance in which current nursing students get inspiration from nursing alumni.
When we go in to the hospital setting and my current nursing students get to see alumni of the Nursing Program, I get to tell them “they are your fellow alumni and Nursing Program graduates– go ask them for words of wisdom!”

How would you describe NSC’s future?
NSC future is very bright. There are so many new programs that we are developing, and we are growing every day. This college is an amazing place that will be around for a long time!
