Graduation with Honors

Graduation with honors requires the completion of at least half of the student's degree credits (62 or 64 credits depending on the total credits required for the degree) to be letter graded (A -F) at Nevada State College.

Students in programs where S/U grades are mandatory for required courses will not be considered for honors if they have fewer than 52 letter graded credits.

With the completion of either 62 or 64 Nevada State College letter grade credits, honors are granted as follows:
Cum Laude - 3.50 to 3.69
Magna Cum Laude - 3.70 to 3.89
Summa Cum Laude - 3.90 to 4.00
