Graduation and Licensing

The School of Education recommends that all students complete the graduation application two semesters prior to graduating. The intent of this is to assist students with deficiencies early enough to allow for changes in class scheduling. Graduation applications are available from the Office of the Registrar

In order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, a student must:

• Complete a minimum of 128 credits of college course work
• Meet all the requirements of the NSC core curriculum
• Meet all the requirements of the School of Education
• Have a minimum resident grade point average of 2.5

Teaching License

The teaching license and speech and language endorsement is granted by the Nevada Department of Education. To receive a teaching license and or endorsement, you must obtain an application online from the Nevada Department of Education or from the following location:
