To initiate graduation, submit the Application for Graduation to the Office of the Registrar. The Office of the Registrar will perform an initial evaluation of requirements. This evaluation will be sent to your advisor for approval. Once approval is recived from your advisor, you will be sent a letter indicating your remaining requirements needed for graduation. All students will be charged a $20 non-refundable application fee which must be paid prior to degree completion.
Fall Graduation: Apply by May 1st
Summer/Spring Graduation: Apply by October 1st
To Attend Spring Commencement: Apply by March 1st
There is no limit to how early you can apply for graduation, however it is not suggested that you apply more than 2 semesters prior to intended graduation.
Final evaluations and Degree postings are completed at the end of each semester. Mid-Semester degree postings are not available.
Diplomas are order approximately two weeks after the completion of the semester. Diplomas will be mailed to graduates from the vendor approximately 3-4 weeks after they are ordered. Students should assure that their address is accurate with the Office of the Registrar, as diplomas are mailed to the current address of record. Students with outstanding financial obligations will not receive their diploma until all such obligations have been met.
