Advisory Committee. This committee shall be comprised of representatives of the various utilities that will provide service to the campus area, experts on Green Building concepts, and representatives of any other interests deemed necessary by the planning process.

Steering Committee. This committee shall be comprised of neighboring property owners, representatives from NSHE, NSC, COH, and others deemed relevant or necessary in order to ensure that interests and concerns of the appropriate stakeholders are addressed. The committee will provide a forum for participation through a series of meetings in which they will review various options under consideration and have the opportunity to provide feedback. It is anticipated that the consultant will hold periodic meetings, as often as once a month, with the Steering Committee to review draft deliverables and discuss key issues throughout the planning process.

Stakeholder and Public Meetings. In order to build consensus, it will be important to incorporate additional key stakeholder meetings that will include the following, at a minimum: NSHE Board of Regents and Committee meetings (two to three); Public Workshops (three to four); Parks Board Presentation (one to two); City Council Briefings (two to three); a Planning Commission Workshops; Public Hearing Presentations (two to three); COH Staff Information and Training Sessions (one to two); and NSC Staff Briefings and Training (two to three). Please note that some meetings may be held during the same consultant visit.
