Interlocal Agreement between the City of Henderson and the University Board of Regents Concerning the Nevada State College
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) and the City of Henderson (COH) enter into an interlocal agreement outlining provisions encouraging joint participation in planning and developing the campus site.

College Area Plan
The COH, in preparation for NSC’s campus development efforts, contracts consultants to begin a compatibility study of the area surrounding the campus site. The purpose of the study is to identify, through community input, compatible land use activity proximate to the campus site.

Master Plan 2030
From the College Area Plan, several key guiding principles emerge that will form the primary framework for future campus development discussion. Initial planning and development of a campus master plan begins in June 2003 under the direction of the NSC President. Several groups were instrumental in programming and preparing plans for both the Liberal Arts & Sciences Building and the 2030 Campus Master Plan for NSC.

Cooperative Interlocal Agreement between the COH and the NSHE
The interlocal agreement document allows for the entire 508.77 acre campus site parcel to be conveyed from the COH to the NSHE.

AB 374
Legislation authorizing the creation of a tax increment area on the NSC campus site. The passage of AB 374 is a collaborative effort between NSHE, the COH, and NSC. AB 374 becomes effective October 1, 2007.
