Biography - Buster Neel
Buster Neel joined Nevada State College (NSC) as the Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration in December 2005 and in July 2006 he was named Vice President, a position he’s held since that time. Buster came to NSC from Boise State University, where he served as the Vice President for Finance and Administration from 1994 to 2004. Although he came from Idaho, he’s no stranger to the Nevada System of Higher Education. Serving from 1988 to 1994, he held the position of Vice President for Finance and Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
Since Buster’s career began in 1970, he’s lent his talents to numerous prestigious colleges and universities across the United States including Auburn University at Montgomery, his alma mater; Marshall University, Boise State University and UNLV.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, and a Master of Business Administration degree, Neel is fit for the department of Finance and Administration. When he’s not in his office at NSC, he’s relaxing either at home or possibly on a hiking trail in Southern Utah with his wife Susan and two dogs, Sebastian and Molly.
