The Nevada State College Provost Council is a working group comprised of representatives from Academic and Student Affairs and Human Resources. The Provost Council serves as a working and informational group as well as an advisory body to the Provost regarding college initiatives. (Read More)
The Deans Council is an administrative advisory group to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Council meets to discuss matters related to academic and student affairs, resource allocation, and curriculum development. (Read More)
The Institutional Strategic Planning Committee represents all constituencies associated with Nevada State College. Its purpose is to review and recommend updates to the Strategic Plan based on input from the campus and external community. The Online Taskforce is comprised of representatives from the campus community. The taskforce is charged with reviewing existing online courses to determine quality and course demand; identifying the retention and persistence rates of those enrolled in online courses; determining how best to develop online courses and programs at the College and; identifying and recommending development workshops for faculty teaching online courses and programs. The Outcomes Assessment Committee is composed of faculty representatives from each academic unit and members are appointed by the Provost. The committee is tasked with developing a comprehensive learning outcomes assessment plan to improve educational practices and teaching excellence as well as further enhance the quality of education at Nevada State College. The Nevada State College STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Task Force is comprised of representatives from the School of Liberal Arts & Science and the School of Education.
