NSC Leadership

Guided by the principles of shared governance, the senior administrative leaders of Nevada State College work collaboratively with the faculty, staff, and the greater community.  President Di Mare meets regularly with several important groups, including:

  • The Executive Council, a larger body of senior level administrators, department heads, and campus leaders.  The group meets monthly as an information sharing body as well as an advisory group to the President.
  • The Executive Budget Committee, an advisory and recommending body to the President on matters pertaining to the institutional operating budget. The Committee helps define and oversees budget policies and procedures, and it ensures that financial resources are allocated in a manner that supports programs and services which further the institution’s vision and goals.
  • The President’s Council, an advisory group made up of community leaders interested in the development and welfare of the college. The Council advises the President on community-oriented issues including, but not limited to, outreach programs, community relations, legislative initiatives, community-based learning projects, relationships with major elements of the service sector such as health care and public education, and scholarship opportunities. The Council meets quarterly to review the College’s progress and to consider new initiatives and opportunities.
