The Nevada State College President’s Council is a citizen advisory group made up of community leaders interested in the development and wellbeing of the college. The Council advises the President on community-oriented issues including, but not limited to, College outreach programs, community relations, legislative initiatives, community-based learning projects, relationships with major elements of the service sector such as health care and public education, and scholarship opportunities. The Council meets two to three times per year to review the College’s progress and to consider and make recommendations for new initiatives and opportunities. The President may consult with individual members in situations in which their expertise can help guide the College.
