Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

The Regular Track is the most traditional route for new and transferring students. As a prospective student, you need to apply and be admitted to Nevada State College. Indicate on your application you wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). You will then be identified as a pre-nursing major.

After specific credits are completed, you may apply directly to the School of Nursing. Once admitted into the School of Nursing, you will work toward completing your degree and prepare for licensure.

Once you graduate from the School of Nursing, you are qualified to take the Registered Nurse Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN). Upon passing the NCLEX-RN, you may begin your career with public health agencies, schools, hospitals and other health care organizations. Before you begin the application process, review the pre-requisites and curriculum for the Regular Track to a BSN.
