Dr. Graziano is an Associate Professor of Education in the School of Education’s Teacher Preparation Program. Dr. Graziano received his doctorate in International and Multicultural Education with a minor in Educational Technology from the University of San Francisco. His teaching and research interests include multicultural education, secondary education, teaching English as a second language, the digital divide, urban learning, and education for personal liberation and social change.
Dr. Graziano has taught English as a second language overseas at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and has conducted two participatory action research studies in South Africa. Dr. Graziano encourages students to make critical decisions that affect their lives and the world around them, learn leadership responsibilities, become independent and creative, and develop practical skills that allow students to analyze and transform systems and problems. When Dr. Graziano is not teaching, he enjoys traveling, foreign films, writing, spending time with his family on the east coast, swimming, hiking, and the outdoors.
