Strategic Plan

The faculty and staff of the School of Education are committed to continuous growth and assessment of all programs. The School of Education continues to find new opportunities and new collaborations to expand the options available to all its students. To this end, the strategic goals for 2008-2009 are:

• The School of Education will remain flexible in its development of innovative programs in order to meet community needs.
• Redesign secondary education program to include instruction that combines content and pedagogical practices
• Expand distance education opportunities with northern Nevada rural areas
• Develop and implement on-line teacher prep programs integrating best-practice strategies
