National college entrance tests, ACT/SAT, will be used as benchmarks for placement in English and mathematics courses.
Home school students/graduates:
The students who are home schooled are required to have an overall grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, to take either national college entrance test, ACT or SAT, and complete the following coursework:
The ACT/SAT will help in the evaluation of college preparation and readiness as a home schooled student may not complete or receive a standard diploma.
GED students:Those students who have completed a General Educational Development credential will automatically be sent to the Admissions Review Committee for an admission decision. The admission will be based on our evaluation of college preparation and readiness as a student who completed a GED.
Students not meeting the above requirements:
Some students who are deficient in the course but have a sufficient grade point average or completed a certificate of completion and have a sufficient grade point average may be granted admission on a conditional, probationary or special basis upon further evaluation by the Admissions Review Committee.
